White Oak rallies for win

The Daily News

Host White Oak trailed in the first two sets, but rallied to win 24-26, 22-25, 25-18, 25-17 and 15-12 over Mideastern 3-A/4-A Conference foe Ashley Tuesday.

"They played great and I'm proud of them," Vikings head coach Brenda Wickwire said. "They never gave up."

As Ashley jumped ahead of White Oak, Wickwire didn't do anything different in the third match, which paid off with three straight sets.

Siera Young had 10 hits and five kills, Morgan Cunningham added 12 assists. Nicole Brown has 14 hits for the Vikings
