Dixon volleyball defeats Jacksonville

 Megan Payton had 12 digs, five kills and three aces as visiting Dixon defeated Jacksonville in non-conference play on Wednesday.

"I thought the girls played well," said Dixon head coach Fay Hall. "I was happy of the consistency on the court tonight."

Blaine Parker had 10 kills, six digs and five aces and Kourtney Powell had 17 assists, two digs and four aces for the Bulldogs.

"Dixon is a good team," said Cardinals head coach David Cox. "Coach Fay has a good team, but passing errors were a big problem for us."

Rachel Thompson had six kills with three blocks and Jessi Orona had two kills and five assists for Jacksonville.
