GOLDSBORO - Jacksonville's Colin Williams finished tied for fourth in the NCHSAA 3-A East Regional championship on Tuesday.

Williams carded a 7-over-par 79. He was followed by teammate's Nick Shaw and Tom Kirland, who carded an 80 and 92, respectively.

White Oak's Sean Jones scored 80.

"I am very pleased with how we played," said Cardinals head coach Bob Tate. "I will miss Colin and Nick as they will graduate, but we have coming up a new crop and we look to be competitive."

Wilson Fike took the team title with 296.
